Every Pentecost weekend, the Étonnants Voyageurs festival turns Saint-Malo into a home port for writers, adventurers and artists from the four corners of the globe. Between literature, cinema and debates, travel is written here in all its forms, inspired by the breath of the open sea.

On the ramparts, on the quays or in the conference rooms, one meeting follows another in an atmosphere of openness and curiosity. The Malouin spirit, which has always been turned towards elsewhere, finds a natural echo in this festival: that of escape, discovery and universal dialogue.
